Danny Oliveira, producer and DJ, has been making a successful career in the electronic music scene with a style that transits between progressive emotional melodies and mind provoking break-beating beats. Not being a producer of specific genres, his base has always been the classical music influence adapt from his late grandfather, a maestro, giving him a wide range of space showing the dynamic on his productions in which have reached the international market with great frequency.
Such originality on combining different styles in one, gave him the recognition defined by DJ MAG, "an irresistible slice of genre defying genius" conceding him the indication for the “Money Shot” on the February edition of 2007, drawing the media’s attention to his ability to gather lovers from lots of styles of electronic music, in one whole production.
In his career, which started at age 15 back in Miami, has produced numerous tracks, which, are part of his shows/performances, like “Hold On” and “Drop it, Your Love”, fixating his name music production in Europe, having his 1st back in 2005 coming across the remix of “False Light” from Marco V.
In 2006, Danny Oliveira came back to Brazil, to prepare new productions and finally conquer the market in his native country, being present as one of the main attractions in many parties around the country like the New Years Eve party in Ipanema Beach – Rio de Janeiro. Between others, Danny was main attraction for 3 consecutive Saturday nights at club Manga Rosa in Sao Paulo in which ended up in 2 special invitations, to perform at the club’s 7th year anniversary in a closed party alongside Ferry Corsten, and a monthly residency.
In the month of July on the same year, Danny Oliveira was invited to return to Europe to perform on the main parties of the European summer, “Berlin LoveParade” at Tiesto’s “Dance for Life” float. “Sunrise Festival”, the biggest festival in Poland, performing along side Dj Jean, Wessel van Diepen, Eric Kross, Randy Katana, Menno de Jong, “FFWD Heineken Dance Parade” in Rotterdam and the LoveParade Pre Party at club E-werk in Berlin alongside djs Tiesto, Joop and ATB.
The originality of his productions granted him more than remixes for big names in the scene, because of his differential, Danny was the Dj/Producer chosen by Adidas to represent Brazil and Argentina on the world wide Campaign for the World Cup. As Result, the 1 minute tv spots with his music was cycled all over the world.
In 2007, the search and study for a new sound brings up the production phase for his 1st artist album, only stopping by for big events, like "Tiesto Brazil Summer Tour" and “Paul van Dyk in São Paulo” closing with “Tiesto in Concert”. For 2008 with the album on the go, Danny will participate again at LoveParade – Dartmund, FFWD and Paris TechnoParade.
Today, Danny Oliveira, at age 23 is a producer/DJ who’s passion for music and his originality called the attention, respect and admiration from veterans and, together with his energetic and interactive performances, conquered the public’s admiration, yet looking ahead, to contribute for the Brazilian electronic music so that it takes a step in quality reference worldwide.
