I offer live, promo, press, interview and tour photography services for both signed and unsigned bands, labels, promoters, publications, tattooists, alternative modelling, clothing and jewellery companies. In fact if it's music or alternative lifestyle related then I can shoot it. Oh and I also offer some artwork services too. Alongside this I also contribute reviews, photographs and articles to the online music webzine SonicDice.com and the print magazine Art and Soul.
How much will a shoot cost?
This is totally dependent on your own requirements and all jobs can be negotiated and priced accordingly. Just get in touch to discuss your ideas and I will give you a competitive quote.
How did you get into music photography?
I bought my first SLR in July07 and I enrolled in part-time course locally. Once I had become familiar with the way the camera worked I contacted as many promoters, labels, bands and managers that I could offering my services. The best advice I can offer for a budding music photographer is do not be afraid to experiment with your photography. Also a real passion for music obviously helps and being able to express that photographically will make a huge difference to your work.
Can I use your pictures on my website/fanzine/publication?
If you would like to reproduce my photographs I ask that you contact me first. This is so that I can exercise some control on where my images are used and also so that I can provide you with a high-res copy that's optimized for the requested medium should I choose to give you permission. I will also always ask to have my photographs credited.
