Hello you lot, Im Dan from Havant, but people call me Shakey due to having weird surname.
I work in Portsmouth Dockyard, but that's enough of that.
At a young age i learnt to play the Keyboard, like ya do, then started playing drums when i was 12, got really into music, then went to college to study it when i was 18. Picked up how to play the guitar which i once thought an impossibility. When i was 21 i got into DJing and was doing that for about 5 years at a local club, was putting on a drum and bass event called MISSION DNB. Managed to score myself some sets with some big name DJs. But then it fell apart. I always knew deep inside that i wanted to be a drummer anyway.
So a few years ago i got myself some electric drums to get back into it. I Started jamming with a covers band then joined a INDUSTRIAL METAL band called NOISY TOYZ, my friend Leon was already playing bass for the guy behind Noisy Toyz,,, Mars. I joined the band and loved it, gave me lots of material to learn. Then Jacqui Taylor teamed up with us and we managed to score a couple of Headliner slots in and around LONDON. Personally i loved my time in Noisy Toyz, MARS and JACQUI TAYLOR are both Amazing on Guitar so go check them out now also. Check my albums for gig pics.
Getting gigs was slow and then Leon and myself were offered to join our friends band MY ENDEAVOUR, torn away from MARS, NOISY TOYZ and JACQUI TAYLOR ;o(
I think if we all had more time we could of managed 2 bands. But we had to make a choice.
Joining MY ENDEAVOUR has been a breath of fresh air for me. After 10 years of overdosing on the DARKSIDE of DRUM & BASS and INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONIC HEAVY GOTH METAL, to finally be drumming in a ROCK band is pretty cool.
At first practice with MY ENDEAVOUR i didn't know how i was gonna get on with Tim, the voice and the main man behind the band. Wasn't really my sort of music, well that's what i thought. Everybody loves a good old rock band Rock Band tho. Tim and i had no problem getting on, he is a natural song writer who i is lucky to have met. Since then we have all come far. The gigs started this year in January.....

Doro Fulminanter Abschluss DORO's "Fear No Evil"-Tour
Hello my armenian brother Firstly, I hope all is well with you and yours. I am personally touching base with everyone on my friend’s list. I have the next few months off before I start a tour early next year, and I want to take this time to thank you for your friendship and support , and share my latest news. In my latest blog I posted the transcript of my recent interview with MUEN Magazine, which was featured in the October issue. It explains a lot more about who I am behind the music, if you are interested. There is a free mp3 download of a song I did called “Be Still” that can exclusively be downloaded from my iLike profile. As always, just click on any of the links on the right side of my main profile page to access my iTunes, Facebook, YouTube, iLike, official page etc. If you will, please add me at any site you are on, as I do different things on each site. I am also announcing that “Blush” and “Disclaimer”, two songs off my debut album “The Good Fight”, will soon be downloadable on Xbox live and PS3 Nation to play on Rock Band. I leave you now with a song I uploaded today on my YouTube. It’s my spin on my all time favorite blues song, and part of my live set. I recorded it at my house the other day. It also debuts the new logo I designed. Hope you enjoy it. If you dig my work, share it with a friend. I don’t care about fame or money, I am just one man who loves music, and dedicates my life to sharing it with as many people as possible. Thank you again for your friendship and support. Best Wishes Gregory Ploy of Oracle
