Born in 1952, in Lubbock Texas. Danny grew up listening to the likes of Bob Wills, Jimmy Rogers, Steppenwolf, The Beatles, Freddy King, and Buddy Holly.
Danny served in vietnam and after returning he played southern rock in the Arkansas/Oklahoma area for several years.
Danny describes himself as a harmonica player, who just happens to play guitar as well. But his first love is the harmonica. He is as they say a 'harmonica playing fool' or as he says 'a fool playing harmonica'.
In 1987 Danny hooked up with J. J. James and the two harmonica players worked with several Tulsa musicians, such as: Calvin Youngblood, Carl Ruben, Scott Mariner, and Terry Azier.
Danny's musical influences are varied, but he points strongly to early blues and gospel.
Danny's favorite guitar players are: Duane Allman, Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Robin Trower, Scott Ellison
Danny recorded the song's 'Ballad of J Edward' and 'Over You' at studio A With Rodney Akers.
Recently Danny was invited to join a recording session at Studio 7 in Oklahoma City, where he played with several great local musicians such as Danny Hargis (of Guitar Center), and John Mead (of the band Natchez).
