Gary Clark/
Kit Clark/
Ged Grimes.
The approach taken by the band when recording was simply "Whoever has an idea can play it and we'll record it". However that means that it's pretty impossible to document who played what on what track. Sometimes Ged might be playing an instrument (usually a rented ethnic one) and Kit would jump in for the middle eight. Some generalities that work most of the time are as follows: Ged played all of the Bass guitar and double bass parts. Gary played most of the guitars on most of the tracks and played most of the acoustic piano parts. If you hear something mental and think to yourself "What the F was that??!!" then it's probably Kit. If you have any specific questions please drop us a line. We will endeavour to trawl the collective subconscious and supply you with an answer. At some point in the future we will drag the same lake in the hope of giving you a definitive list of guest and session players who augmented our records and lives from time to time.
Influences
Frank Sinatra, Frank Loesser, Frankly pretty much anything you can think of that has words and music.

Broken China" A.K.A "Cracked Crockery", "Pulverized Plates" and "Wiped out Worcester". As requested by Lorraine. Check out this link for a recent interview and review of a not so recent Danny's album and some other tasty stuff you may or may not have heard before. http://www.bullz-eye.com/music/features/2007/best_albums_never_heard/home-01.htm

A third album was released in 91 under the title "Sweet Danny Wilson" and was a compilation of singles, live and unreleased tracks. This site is run by all of the members of the band. If you happen to be in possession of any info, photos, reviews (Only really good ones or excruciatingly bad ones will be considered) or anything DannyWilson related that might be of interest let us know via this page and we'll put them up here if we are suitably amused. We hope in the future to dig out some rare tracks to post as well as the more well known ones (again, if you have anything of this nature in your possession, let us know). Hey! Been some time... I play like mad live on the internet in a thinggie called Second Life.. amazing what they can do now.. lol A little pathetic maybe, but at least I play a world tour every day.. :) Still inspired by your music, and still sharing it whenever I can... :)
A double-shot of Danny Wilson found its way onto the playlist for last night's Prog'opolis as we served up a little "Spencer Tracey" and a some "Lorraine Parade" (ah, what a gorgeous melody). The prog crowd knew not what to make of it, but they will learn. We're determined.
