Dan Patlansky and his band have been one of the busiest bands in Southern Africa in the past few years. Dan has been recently been voted the "Best Blues Guitarist" by readers choice. His playing is reminicent of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan with a very modern feel. His voice passionate and whiskey soaked. Working out of New Orleans in 2005, Dan had the honour working with legendary musicians such Snooks Eaglin, Rockin' Dopsie Jr, Henry Gray and the Batiste Family. The Dan Patlanskys new blues sound is fresh and inspiring, and must be heard. "Real" is the title of his brand new album, soon to be released in stores. Other Dan releases are "Standing at the Station" 2000, "True Blues" 2004.
