Currently based in the steel town of Pittsburgh, PA, Dan Peluso Band, is starting to make its mark in the indie scene as a pop singer-songwriter. Wildy's World says that Dan Peluso has a "knack for writing gorgeous pop songs with strong melody and quirky pop sensibility."
The debut, "ep," is available on iTunes and popular online music distributors. Dan Peluso Band's, "ep," includes popular song, Rabbit Hole, which has an interesting and creative stop-animation music video that aired on Fuse TV, Fall 2008. This Winter 2010 Dan Peluso Band will release another EP with an added twist. The untitled EP, currently in pre-production, will be accompanied by a music video for each song. The videos will be released as a short film consisting mostly of animation and stop-animation.
Dan Peluso collaborates with long time producer/guitarist, Chris Olszewski, but has had various members in the past. Thom Fuell and Jarrad Haning were in Peluso's acoustic trio in his year spent playing the singer-songwriter circuit in New York City. After moving to his original town of Pittsburgh, Fall 2008, Dan Peluso Band became electric with Chris Olszewski, Jordan Wood, and Flavion Mancini. The Pittsburgh line-up opened for national acts and built a strong fan-base. Currently Peluso is working with a network of musicians on new material and live performances for his upcoming release.
With national television placements, radio play, and an increasing number of press for a young artist, Dan Peluso promises to grow and be known. Avant/Chicago believes Rabbit Hole is one of the best tracks they've come across so don't forget to get "ep" on iTunes. Thanks a lot for the add! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check EletriKa out!
Early reviews say: From the opening AC/DC inspired groove of “Cocaine” , a wickedly arranged cover of J.J. Cale’s narcotic classic, Black Robot serves instant notice with their self-titled debut that not only do they have it, they damn near destroyed the laboratory to get it. This mechanical/musical beast was conceived and constructed for the divine, ultimate destruction of brain cells, ear fibers and false perceptions about what it truly means to rock as if our very survival as a race depended on it. -Lonn Friend
