Sounds Like
I've been told that my lead style resembles a cross between Jake E. Lee (Ozzy), Vivian Campbell (Dio), and Phil Campbell (Motorhead).
Dan Reed Picked up a guitar in 1986, but started seriously figuring out how to play it in 1988. Previously a drummer in high school, it was AC/DC's Angus Young that turned him on to throwing away the sticks and buying his first guitar.
================================================
Dan is a completely self-taught guitarist. Not accelling fast enough on the guitar almost made him quit playing. At the end of 1988, it was Eric Lee Little that drove him into trying harder and to stay on the instrument. Soon after, watching Jake E. Lee's solo on the Ultimate Ozzy concert video gave him HUGE inspiration to accel even more. In 1995, he considered himself good enough to start a band.
================================================
Dan met drummer Jim Gac that year, and together they grew as musicians. Bands they were together a part of were Threshold, Three Feet Thick, C4, and Strick9. With his American Kramer Proaxe Deluxe in hand, Dan is now siding with Jim, Ida Reed, and Andy Greenman, as the lead guitarist for the heavy Modern/Classic Rock band Callous.
