Acoustic singer/songwriter, Dan Reisen, was born in Valparaiso, Indiana and has increasingly developed a musical following in various parts of Northwest, Indiana. While acquiring a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Music from Indiana University, Dan continued to play guitar and sing in local venues, taverns, and benefit shows. After graduating, Dan moved to Nashville, TN to pursue his musical career by recording and writing. Dan enjoys writing about his inner emotions, thoughts, life struggles, love, and positive experiences. Those very life experiences brought Reisen back to Portage, Indiana to reinvigorate his creativity and keep himself fresh in the ever-evolving music scene. Wanting to take his music to the next level, Dan is currently working on recording in the studio while continuing to write music and frequently playing in local venues. Dan’s stylistic influences include acoustic-pop, indie, blues, and rock. His contagious lyrics and cutting-edge melodies mix ideally into the musical batter of his smooth, progressive vocals. His goal is immeasurable, while he is continuing to reach higher into his music career with no limits and an open mind.
