Dan Rivers AKA Dan Robilotta Dan grew up in New York and has traveled extensively. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College and worked in the pharmaceutical construction industry while crafting his songs for the commercial market. After writing over 500 songs Dan started co-writing and joined NSAI in Nashville. He is now writing professionally on a full time basis. Dan has had 3 Indie cuts and a song placed on the NPR Car Talk nationally syndicated show and has performed on Fox TV in New Orleans . Making 10 -12 trips per year he has two single song contracts and is pursuing a staff writing deal. He is appearing in Nashville writer’s night rounds and locally in New Orleans where he resides with his wife Ginnie. ., as a single act in Cape Cod and Ski Resorts of Vermont writing his own material. Toured with the duo “Sundance” throughout New England. Dan wrote songs for the group. His wide range of music has gone from folk rock / country to Pop. Dan plays guitar, keyboards and is a lead singer. His first CD ‘Philadelphia Collection” covers a wide range of music. The newly released CD “Louisiana Sky” had the title track selected for the “Save Our Wetlands” compilation CD.
