I'm a 24 year old DJ who's been playing out for just over 10 years now. Initially I was playing in pre-club bars in and around Brighton and Worthing, I then started DJing for the DysfuNKtional Sound System in 2001 and carried on playing for them in their night club, 3TO in Worthing where I also co-promoted most of the nights there alongside Ni Garner and Oly Street.
We ran 2 House & Hard House nights (DysfuNKtional Unleashed & Mind Made UP?), 3 drum and bass nights (Switch, Urban Knights & Minimelt Worthing) and an indie night (Live Licks) until the club closed in 2004. It was here that I played on the same bill as Anne Savage, Jay Pidgeon, Graham Gold, Luke Neville, Kenny Ken, Nicky Blackmarket, Ash-A-Tack, JFB, Ruffstuff, DJ Friction & The Kooks to name a few.
After this I held a residency for 2 years at The Pressure Point Bar, Brighton in conjuction with Cable Club in the club upstairs that showcases up and coming acts as well as occasional touring guests.
It was here that I had the pleasure to provide DJ support to Kate Nash, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, John Kennedy, Babybird, The Hazey Janes, British Sea Power, Don't Say Party! We Say Die!, Leader, Paul Steel, The X-Certs, Hour Hands and, of course, the mighty TURNCOAT to name the ones I can remember!
