Borromean rings
A short animation of Borromean rings, which are three interlocked, inseparable rings when taken as a whole - breaking and removing one will make the other two come apart as well. Borromean rings are therefore a symbol of unity.
The rings are rendered with a ChromaDepth (TM) palette (using RenderMan), which makes them appear to pop out in 3D. With ChromaDepth (TM) glasses, the stereo effect is much more pronounced.
