Since the summer of 2000, DAN'S PEOPLE have been wowing mod and scooterist audiences up and down the land playing our interpretations of classic scene tunes recorded back in the day by the likes of The Who, Kinks, Small Faces, Spencer Davis Group, Booker T & The MGs, Spanky Wilson, Wilson Pickett, Slim Harpo, and more.......
Recently, we launched a spin-off punk, new wave and indie covers band - originally called Ye Gods, and now re-monikered THE RIGSBYS - playing stuff by The Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Dodgy, Echo and the Bunnymen, Blur, Oasis, Stone Roses, Primal Scream, Franz Ferdinand, White Stripes, Strokes, Hives, Kaiser Chiefs, Fratellis and that, and they've gone down a strom too.......Even more recently, we put together a full-on Small Faces tribute band, THE SMALL FAKERS - the only Small Faces tribute band in all of known creation.......One or other of the bands is playing pretty much every week, and chances are we'll be at a venue near you soon - so keep checking back to the gig list on this site or sign up as a friend and we'll keep you posted on where we're playing and when.
