Dantalion was created in May 04 by three former members of the Spanish Black Metal band Mygdard (Rip) along with a new bass player. Their intention is to play the same style but in a more depressive and melancholic yet dark and brutal way.
Soon after completing their line-up the band starts the song-writing process and, by the end of the year, they have enough material to perform live. The response is great and new songs are composed within the next two months.
Between April and July 05 Dantalion record their first and self-financed promo Cd in the Oceano Studios, being really satisfied with the result. A three song sample from the recording sessions is the way the band choose to introduce themselves in the underground scene. The feedback from magazines, fanzines and webzines is really positive.
By the time Fall 05 arrives and after some live performances, due to lack of time and other compromises, the bass player leaves Dantalion. This is in no way any kind of handicap for them, since the band replaces him with the addition of a new musician. With this new and strenghtened line-up, Dantalion keeps on performing live and composing new material.
Finally, in summer '06 Dantalion released their first album, "When the Ravens Fly Over Me", with the German label Det Germanske Folket in Europe and through Concreto Records in America.
In Spring 2007 Dantalion registers their second album again in Oceano Studios, released in January 2008 through Det Germanske Folket.
Just after the release Zeukram leaves his place to Sanguinist, who strengthens the band line up with the addition of a second guitar.
Dantalion are currently in the works for a third album due to be recorded sometime in 2009!

Para nosotros fue un placer compartir de nuevo escenario, cervezas y buenas charlas de METAL!!!! Esperamos como bien dices compartir de nuevo otra monumental fiesta, a ser posible en buestra tierra. Yo aun no he visto las fotos que hicimos, si hay alguna interesante os las paso.
jajaja cabrones desaparecisteis y no os vimos!!!! luego le dimos a Guillem la dirección de una fiesta en casa de unos colegas y allí estuvimos bebiendo hasta las tantas!!! fué una lástima pero habrán mas veces tio, eso seguro. Dales recuerdos a todos de nuestra parte. Lo que puede ver de vuestra actuación fué un gran concierto caballeros.
tios sois la puta hostia, quedamos encantados con el conceirto del sabado 31 y todos sois la polla pero debo destacar el trabajo de Naemoth eres un grande tio un bateria de fantastico sinceramente, pero esto no quiere decir que desmeresca el trabaj de los demas jajaa yo es que aluciné con el grupo en sí!!!
