I'm a proud member of the school of thought that says that an I-Pod is NOT a music collection. I've got nothing against the little box of tricks personally (I even have one buried under some notes somewhere), but a proper collection of CDs, tapes or records, lovingly collected over time beats the crap out of a bunch of names on a computer screen. I don't download it, if I can buy it (not because of any real desire to adhere to copywrite, just cos it doesn't feel right unless I can hold the CD in my own greedy mits).
In terms of what sort of music I like, to be honest if it's well done then I tend to like it whatever the genre. I do have a bit of a soft spot for decent Indy, as it's what I grew up with, but the wheels have kinda fallen off it lately and there's some real shite about. Love dance music too, cos I know absolutly nothing about it, so every record is a suprise. Manufactured kiddy pop isn't music...unless it's the first Aqua album which is just waiting for human perceptions to catch up to it's radical stylings.

Television
I don't really watch telly that much. I could say this to try and sound clever and highbrow, but when I do watch it I like the wrestling channel so I think that spoils it. :s
Books
Dyslexic, so reading anything with a big page count is kinda hard for me. I tend to get stuff on audio-book and enjoy it that way. Belle De Jour, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Terry Pratchett, Oscar Wilde that sort of stuff really. Love the Picture of Dorian Grey. The rest of the time I read comic books.

Alright dudes, my name is Dan and I'm trying to take over the world. I like to think of myself as a modern day trubador, however since I'm clearly not (and can't even spell it) I settle for being a relatively excitable comedian from Kent. I spend my nights telling jokes, drinking too much and blowing as much money as possible on seeing new bands. I spend my days writing jokes, drinking too little and trying to be as vague as possible about how I spend my nights. I also DJ a bit and play me a mean game of X-Box.
I used to post a new blog here every week and they were bloody interesting. Back on the London circuit now so don't get so much time to update it, but I'll try to keep you chaps posted on any gigs I'm doing so we can all be rude together...like in a funny way...you know what I mean.

Who I'd like to meet: Lego men. I've always wanted to hang out with a lego man and ask him what it's like, cos it must be really mad. Like one day you've got an eye patch and blue legs and the next day you wake up and you've got yellow legs and like a ginger wig or something. You'd freak out, but Lego men take it all in their stride, they're well inspirational like that.
