Danubian Trances is contemporary electronic music. In the "chill out" direction, it can be considered as ambient style. The expression refers to environmental music.
Digital technology makes it possible for various instrumental and sung archival sound samples typical of a certain place -to sound within the same musical structure, key and tempo- and even to be able to arrange the material and natural environment into music and to become a part of the instrumentalization.
Technology also allows to retouch and transcribe the archival recordings with the result that we hear them as today's music, whice at the same time preserving their own original. irreproducable magical sound.
