   About Dan Sandman
The Dan Sandman Band were formed in September 2008. We like to rock out alot, we also like folky melodies but mostly love guitars.

I (dan) originally started out as a solo artist producing the album 'in technicolour' in 2007. Surprisingly, my old friend Chris Monger recorded the album over three days in a bedroom (he also started playing with me).

Since making the first prodominantly folky album I have been lucky enough to have found amazing musicians Chris Waring on Bass / Banjo and Richard Austin on drums which has led to a more rocky sound. My good freind Harrisburg was kind enough to say about our live show..."The absolute definition of foot tapping folk jiggery always delivered with a twinkle in the eye and musicianship to be envied.”

We're working hard on making the second album. I'm 25 now, it's make, break or play Jazz in a pub. I put on Folkatron once a month in Camden because I love the music of people like Sean Taylor & Steve Ferbrache. Love, Peace and (mucho) Bon Jovi

Dear friends, I am playing a free gig at the beauteous Union Chapel, Islington this Saturday. The sunlight will be streaming through its vaulted windows as Blank Canvas and Arctic Circle present this gig during the blessed daylight hours of 12-2. And yea shall it's hallowed interior be filled with all manner of scraping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. Let us pray. And then let us go to the pub.
