the band is sounding fantastic - chaotic harmonic precision - the real 21st century all-ages folk sound. when you come to a show you'll be singing along and dancing with colin brooks, john foti, elena moon park, father goose, saskia sunshine lane and our latest addition to the family sonia de los santos. debbie harry, suzanne vega, lou reed, sheryl crow, nick cave, natalie merchant, the five blind boys, sister carol and bob weir have all joined us on the cds.
Influences
i like music that sounds like people in a room whooping it up. these days i'm inspired by anyone who's singing and playing for the fun of it all.
i learned to ice skate in canada and started listening to leadbelly at the age of 6 when we moved to new hampshire. my teenage years were spent listening to "the golden great 98" oldies radio- songs of the 50's and early 60's. i squandered my early adult years playing in a garage band called the del fuegos. this is the best musical time of my life. i play 21st century all-ages folk music!
Howdy. Thanks for being my new friend on this here thing they call myspace. I'm one step closer to my ultimate goal of finding out where you get those great suits, Dan!
Please check out our new comic "Vampire Bankers" music video. The guy who directed Madonna's first music vid also directed this. We think it's pretty funny. There's also a free mp3 download of the song on http://www.ukejackson.com
Thanks for being our friend! Uke Jackson and the NY Ukulele Ensemble
I have to say that your show rocked here in Ann Arbor. I took my 4 y/o to your concert that I have been patiently waiting for...and it was everything and more. Thank you for such a fabtacular memory...and I look forward to your next return. Take care...and continue to entertain the young at heart who like nothing more than to "party".

April is Autism Awareness Month! It is also a chance to applaud and celebrate those we know and love on the spectrum for all that they are and all that they do to try and navigate through the world.
Lets not forget all of the parents, teachers, doctors, friends and adults on the spectrum who work so hard 24/7, 365 days a year to bring about better education, acceptance and understanding.
The journey may not be easy, but remember that you are not alone! Hugs and Blessings (in April and always), Tricia
