Influences
DappaDon has been blessed to be influenced by a Motown Legend who he would call "Uncle" Bobby Taylor of Jackson 5 Fame. Bobby was influencial in pushing him into pursuing a lifestyle and career in music!!!
Among other Influences DappaDon has are as follows; Teddy "Street" Riley, Jermain Dupre, R.Kelly, Brain Mc Knight, JimmyJam & TerryLewis,Timbaland, Kanye West, Just Blaze, Scott Storch, Todd Terry, just to name a few. His musical taste varies and he is influenced by all types of good music although Dappa has a strong passion for Hip Hop/R&B/Soul.. he doesn't limit himself!!

With Bobby's guidence, Dappa continued to temper his skills towards becoming a consummate Composer/Songwriter/Producer/Artist.
DAPPA'S Past & Current credentials include a Remix project for The Rap group BRAND NUBIAN.
He has done remixes for Universal Recording Artist CARLOS MORGAN, GHETTO CONCEPT, Laface Recording Artist SHANICE WILSON, and TLC.

MYSELF AND A WOMEN CALLED GLORIA DECIDED TO DRESS MARVIN UP AS AN EGYPTIAN PHARAOH!
IT WAS A BIT OF FUN,I HAD THIS IDEA TO BRING MARVIN ON STAGE CARRIED BY FOUR OR SO BEAUTIFUL GIRLS IN ARABIAN COSTUME AND PAMPER TO HIS EVERY WISH WHILST SINGING 'I WANT YOU'.
HE LOVED THE IDEA AND THAT'S WHY I DRESSED HIM THIS WAY AS A REHEARSAL !
