Hip-hop has never seen an artist able to revisit the tragic issues facing our urban community from the perspective of a victim and a survivor. DapDon brings to us an intriguing talent with what some call the greatest upside of any up-and-coming artist. Armed with intellect and the insight of a psychologist, Dap is well capable of placing his audience into the dangerous currents that so many of the unfortunate youths succumb to, while providing a ray of hope to those in the same environments.

The Brooklyn (NY) born rapper comes to us after stints in Southside Queens (NY), Massachusetts, and Connecticut. As he has experienced firsthand; “there’s a slum everywhere”. Dap will take you on an in-depth journey throughout the hood and out to the experiences of a “Boss” in the boardroom, leaving what he calls a “blueprint of survival”. His Unconscious Reality Series points out that being real is not something you work toward, as most of today’s artist try to “keep it real” it’s something unconscious, and that reality is a state of being.

"Rec League is my movement, cuz I’m focused on providing a way out for my dogs in the ’trap’. My motto from Jayz of course, "all we got is sports and entertainment" the two arts you can’t tamper from the purity standpoint. ’Unconscious Reality’, my first joint, is an official banger. Straight music for the fiends who want to hear hiphop, not just beef music.
