Darasuum (da-RAH-soom) is an ancient word and is used as an adverb/ adjective. It can also serve as the noun for "eternity".
Formed out of Riverside, CA from the ashes and ex-members of previous hardcore/metal acts such as Oblige (Stillborn Records) and xDeathstarx (Facedown Records). Darasuum mix metallic and melodic hardcore to bring a sound that will both catch your ear and maintain a heaviness that will make a metal head smile. An EP is to be released later this year but no official date has been set. If you are a fan of Hatebreed and Comeback Kid, then Darasuum are definitely a band you may want to consider checking out.
Let it be known now, that we aren't in any way claiming to change the face of hardcore like other bands claim to be doing. We play hardcore the way WE like and if you think we aren't a hardcore band, then fuck you, what do you really know?
