For over 30 years Darcie Maze has captivated the hearts of children and adults with her exceptional gift of puppetry. In addition, she is known nationally for her teacher-training workshops and seminars, crossing many denominational lines. However, Darcie is best known for designing her own distinctive line of puppets that are found in over 150 countries. One of her puppets is currently seen on the Cartoon Network.
Darcie began her children’s ministry at age 12, designing her own unique puppets. Today she is not only a skilled puppeteer using puppets with or without a stage, she is also a much-demanded teacher/trainer with a gift for motivating and equipping the body of Christ with teaching tools. Her vision is to train teachers for children’s ministry and supply resources that are easy to use.
Recently Darcie has teamed with Mary Rice Hopkins who is internationally known for her music ministry to children and families. They have combined their unique gifts to provide exciting family concerts and much-demanded creative teaching-training seminars that are ministering to the church at large.
After studying Child Evangelism at Christ for Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, and Life Bible College, she became an ordained minister. She is married and resides in Victorville, California.
Darcie is available for conference, training seminars and other engagements. She can be contacted at ezam1@aol.com
Looking forward to seeing the new DVD. I also wanted you to know that I'm using the Eli the Eagle puppet and the Broken Wings curriculum at the YMCA where I work. We deal with many inner city kids that are facing some tough issues. They really look forward to seeing Eli come every week. Thank you so much for the ministry you do! God bless!
So many times we clog our minds By focusing on the ills; Life’s too short to get out of sorts And lose the peace God instills.
Forgive all sin against you, friend, And hold not a single grudge; Think on the good the way you should, And remember not to judge.
When things go wrong, look for a song, You can always find one there; Begin to sing…and it will bring… Such a clearing of the air.
In the future, look for virtue And, if there be any praise, Think on these things as your heart sings… And rejoice all of your days.
When Christ we know, sweet fruit doth flow, Let us leave wrong thoughts behind; Great joy is wrought by pleasant thought— Things that are just, pure, and kind… Think on These Things.
“Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Phil 4:8)
Thanks for the add Darcie. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. Hopefully you and Mary come back to the Michigan area or the top of Indiana again this year. I had so much fun at both concerts I went to I can't wait to go to another one.
Hi Darcie, Thanks for adding me as your friend. I've been a fan for a few years. I attend at least one of your workshops at ACSI every November AND I ordered the DVD, soon to be released. You and Mary have a fantastic ministry. God bless you. PAM
