About me:

I have no scene and claim none. Its too f*cking hard being true to yourself without all the other crap. I am not str8 acting/appearing and those who think of themselves as such just just hit the "back" button now. I say what I am thinking when I am thinking it. I come off as confrontational, but its really just my inability to deal with peoples bullsh*t. My own is enough, thank you very much. I am black, interacial, gay..blah, blah, blah. If you are someone who thinks you know what a person feels and wants and thinks because of there skin color or gender or sexuality, then you won't like me. My entire life seems to be call to stretch beyond what I am or know. My friends are my family to me. It takes more than blood to bind you to people and that "more" is what I have found with my friends. Our inside jokes are endless and our ability to turn the most mundane tasks into comedy shows legendary. I have traveled around the world and don't plan ..ping. From the place of my birth (Israel), to the place where I first found the concept of home (Paris), to the first place I ever visited (Ireland), the world outside is awesome and big and completely overwhelming and I love it. Japan, China, Jakarta, Barceloana, Egypt, Wales and a host of other places I have been blessed to see. And there is so much more.. I am an unforgiving bastard. Sad, but true. My experiences have not taught me much forgiveness or faith in people and though I am on this constant journey to remove the shadows of a previous past from my life, it doesn't happen overnight. My father was the son of first gen Irish immigrants (he was the first member of his family to be a United States citizen). The McCormick/Maclintock clan are devout Irish Catholics. My mothers family are a combination of the remnants of a nomadic african tribe and ethiopian jews. Most of my mothers family are eithier jews or animists. Lets just end this by saying the birth of me and my twin sister did not exactly ignite much celebration in eithier family, lol. My basic philosophy, or at least the one I am TRYING to live by is this: The world is too big and our time to short to spend it consumed by hate and anger. I don't want to spend my span of time hurt and anger. I want to learn every language I can, go everywhere I can, eat a different meal, meet a different person, sleep in a different world and generally just enjoy the giant amusement park known as "Earth" for as long as I can. I am very religous, or at least I beleive in an animating force behind the cosmos. I don't like organized religion. Too many people preach that thier way is the best way with no evidence to support such a claim. Too many people think that they are "God's Chosen People" and they act accordingly. Too many people are willing to use thier beliefs to kill, hate, torture, riot, rape and destroy. I beleive we are all "his" children, with none of us being any less worthy of love than another. I am gay. Flamingly so, I have been told. I will still drop the first asshole to step to me wrong. There was a time I use to revel in barfights (there is nothing like beating the snot out of a frat boy to make a gay guy feel all toasty inside), now it all seems rather pedestrian.

Who I'd like to meet:

Women: no whinny girls. I like women who stand up for themselves and know what they want.I am 100% gay, but women are the shit. What are our lives like without women anyway? It took one to get me here (despite her best efforts) so I give respect. Guys. I am gay, so I guees I am supposed to LOVE men. Yeah, anyway:). Guys are fun. I do tend to get along better with str8 men than gay guys (most gay guys don't like Ultimate Fighting or loud concerts or hiking) But friends can be found everywhere and as my grandmother used to tell me "There is no one so rich that they can turn down a friend". So figure out if you think I am interesting or annoying or evil or just a dick (or mayhaps a combination of all those things....?) and send me a message. ..
