The band started off in the early days as a two-piece, consisting of Daria (guitar/vocals) and Stef (on drums). Soon to follow was the amazing organ-player Iria, who assisted the chord playing in such hits as "Just Another Reason" and, later, the much renowned "Give Me a Chance". However, these beautiful relationships were short lived, and arguably the weirdest drummer since Roger Taylor appeared on the scene, going by the name of Roisin (to this day, the most faithful member of the band [along with the founder, Daria]).
And for a while the old-time classics of JAR and GMAC were delivered to an exceptional standard by this new three-peice, Daz, Iz, and Ro, with the occasional appearance by M.T. as the bassist.
However, with the impending departure of Iria, the band was left somewhat in tatters, and hence came the introduction of Saloni as the new pianist. You can see that the band now had progressed into the 21st century as there were no more organs around.
Entertaining the masses at two school barbecues, a school bazaar, and a whole host of arts festivals and school concerts was no mean feat, and the band enlisted the help of Louise as second guitarist, plundering through such hits as "I'm With You" and "Runaway". (We all make mistakes, and we're not ashamed to admit we're full of love and nostalgia for cheesy pop songs.)
The band's most memorable performances to date include a cover of Aerosmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing", which featured the return of MT on bass, with Saloni, Roisin and Daria on keyboards, drums and guitar/vocals respectively, and Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" which introduced Elizabeth as a temporary keyboard player, and Philip as a temporary bassist. The second performance also included Lara, Georga and Shauna as our backing vocals.
All in all, it has been a colourful seven years that have hopefully provided many of us with very much laughter, and very few tears (except if they were a consequence of laughter), and we look forward to much more to come!
