Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, Darin
Martin is a singer/songwriter who pours his heart into every song
he writes. Drawing from life experiences, Darin has the ability to captivate you
with his rich voice and openness. Influenced by artists such as Neil Young, Sting,
and the late Rich Mullins, he is able to capture a very pure acoustic sound. Darin's
live show boasts a variety of different styles of music all coming together to
produce a sound truly unique to his own. He is a storyteller who'll make you laugh
and make you cry as he shares stories both personal and other. Be assured that

Martin show. Whether in a big concert hall or a small room, Darin
is able to connect with his audience by being so real. He is a delight to see

.. Hi there Darin Martin first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.

The Worldview website just launched this week and we're trying to get as many people as possible to be part of the word of mouth campaign. The new site is a coalition of child sponsorship organizations and 16 international bands and singer/songwriters united against child poverty.
You can check out the site at worldview.ca and if you think it's worthwhile, tell your friends. There are also lots of tools on the “get involved” page to help you spread the word.
Some of the poorest children on the planet are counting on us to pull this off. Please do what you can.
