On the 16th of June 2009 I've been invited to join for a jam Richard Smith and his "L.A. Chillharmonic" during the masterclass held at the Guitar Institute of London. We played three songs... this is "Cissy Strut' by "The Meters". I thought there was quite a good energy that eve partially because we didn't really know what we were going to play!!
Hope you enjoy!
On the 16th of June 2009 I've been invited to join for a jam Richard Smith and his "L.A. Chillharmonic" during the masterclass held at the Guitar Institute of London. We played three songs... this is "Mercy Mercy Mercy".
This was the first tune I played with the band so I had to sort my sound/amp out... that tells you that was really LIVE!
On top of that I kept getting my top E string stuck under the border of my neck up (you can actually see me moving the string out of the pick up! It is so ANNOYING!)... Anyway, I liked the energy of the whole thing so I hope you'll enjoy it despite all of the above!
Hope you enjoy!
On the 16th of June 2009 I've been invited to join for a jam Richard Smith and his "L.A. Chillharmonic" during the masterclass held at the Guitar Institute of London. We played three songs... this is "Black Orpheus".
Richard wanted to start with just two gtrs (which I think was a good idea). I don't know why but this tune always have the same effect on me... I tend to drop the pick down and just use the thumb.. forget all the fancy stuff and just go wherever the music takes me. It's always a journey.. sometimes nice sometimes not so nice but so is life so... here we go!
Enjoy!
