I am a mentalist (magician of the mind) and bizarre magician (gothic illusionist/story teller). I have appeared on television, variety specials and in leading roles as “Zanoni” in The Tour of the Universe, and the two year North American tour of The Science of the Mind, and Science of Illusion live stage performances in the role of “Doktor Luciferi.”
As a mentalist I conduct lectures with live participant demonstrations in the dark arts, the paranormal and kaos magic. Participants see before their very eyes and experience firsthand precognition, clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis, synchronicity, the divinatory arts involving tarot cards, runes and pendulum. Some participants may have their minds read, others may read a fellow participant’s mind, while others may send a thought to another participant.
As a bizarre magician I provide a lecture tour of the power of the dark arts as applied in witchcraft and sorcery with selected occult artifacts and oddities. The selection of artifacts may include such items as a 15th century hand of glory, a 17th century vampire kit, a 20th century electric séance board, 4th century crucifixion nails and 10th century mummified monkey’s paw to name a few. With the aid of participants I attempt to demonstrate the alleged magical properties of these artifacts, often with very memorable results! Participants not only learn the very real story of these artifacts but also witness their occult and paranormal power firsthand.
I owe a great deal to my very special magical mentors Professor Lexmore, Bruce Posgate, Len Cooper and Sid Lorraine; all of whom are sadly no longer in this realm.
Another side of me collects bizarre antiques, artifacts and artwork in the spirit of curiosity cabinets from the 15th to 18th centuries. My collection currently consists of approximately 300 items and I am hoping to share some of this collection with the public in the form of a traveling museum known as The East York Museum of Curiosities .
