The Dark Ambient Podcast is the work of musician Jim Butler. This podacst is an constantly changing body of ambient soundscapes that should give the listener a moment of being, an almost other worldly presence. It is a free hour long original musical journey. Each episode has a different sonic theme to it. One month it could have a tribal feel and the next month extremely minamalist and even sometimes bordering on new age. Since the podcast started in December of 2006, the fourteen volumes have been downloaded over 25,000 times.
