Sounds Like
an ever-evolving artistic/cathartic concept crafted by an insane/enlightened mind
Bands that aspects of our music have been compared to: Limbonic Art, Satyricon, Behemoth, Vader, Nile, Laibach, Rammstein, Fear Factory, KMFDM, Tristwood, Psyclon Nine, Marduk, Hanzel und Gretyl, Soilwork, Ensiferum, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Dimmu Borgir, Belphegor
North Carolina based black/death/industrial metal masters Dark Autumn officially formed in 2001, arising from the ashes of other projects.
With lyrical topics ranging from chronicles of war and mythology, to politics and philosophy, to unadulterated misanthropy, Dark Autumn takes pride in exhibiting a degree of artistic passion and expression in their work that is very uncommon in most extreme music.
Travis originally formed the project to create extreme metal forged with classical and acoustic influences, with a grim atmosphere, hellspawned energy, and lyrics to match. Since then, the project has evolved to include a wide array of electronics, further defining its unique, atmospheric, and genre defying sound.
The band developed and grew in shadows for two years, then unleashed their fury live, performing in front of audiences of up to 700 people.
After gaining attention from several well known regional acts with their powerful stage presence and scene breaking sound, they were offered a deal to record their first demo in 2004, which led to the recording and release of their first full length “Infernal Invocation” in 2005.
They continued to spread their breed of metal across three states, then released their follow up EP, “Pagan Kvlt Terrorism” independently in the summer of 2006.
Dark Autumn continued to grow and enlarge their fanbase with the release of two singles, “The Order of the Black Sun” and the predominantly black metal piece “Hurled from the Heavens” in 2006, followed by their seven track 2007 release, "Honor Through Bloodshed."
At this point, Dark Autumn has performed over 60 shows in several states, alongside such notable bands as Enslaved, Arsis, The Agonist, Green Carnation, TÝR, Drawn and Quartered, Alestorm, and dozens more.
The project works on new material as inspiration arises.

Hello, thanks for contact with us. We're recording our first full length album right now! And looking for gigs around america and europe. I heard your music and its really awesome!
Thanks for the add! You have excellent tracks! I listed to all six of them! I have survived the BLACK DEATH! Your new fan, REDNECK RONNIE & The STONED SHEEP BAND Coming soon to, iTUNES
Yes, I know it's a week late, but you guys were awesome on the 2nd. Aeryn and I agree that our only complaint was that you weren't playing to a big enough crowd. It sucked that everyone douched-out and left.
The both of you are phenomenal musicians. And Travis, you can windmill like super awesome.
