Why this name?
I choseBruce Black aka Cakkiman because I am a South Carolina man. This state is often referred to as South Cakki-laki, so it was natural for me to take on the name Cakkiman. Dark Corna' has a spiritual meaning. People often talk about "The Light", but remember, from "The Darkness", came "The Light", and musically speaking, I have always been in my "Corner", Thus Dark Corna'.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I feel that the internet gives "the little man" an opportunity to be heard. The playground is no longer being controlled by the bullies (the major labels). Gone are the days of being forced to listen to radio rotation formatted music, in which, most radio stations base their playlist on monetary gifts, and not on good quality songs.
