About me: The Dark Crazy is an ever-expanding
world of visual entertainment that we're always trying to get other folks to become
a part of.
NOW SHOWING: Late Fees. This is a video short we did to illustrate the importance of returning movies to the video store on time. Written by Sean Gilbert & directed by Brooks Robinson. Starring Sean Gilbert, David Payton, Errol Crane, and Cole Taratoot.

We were a small production group in the late nineties called Cooler
Than You Productions, and we produced a short-lived small-budget cable show
called "Insert Title Here", which has aired on college campuses across
Georgia in one form or another ever since. We also produced a few radio projects
including 2 award-winning radio dramas, the "Snowden's Quest" serial
and a live radio play, "The Adventures of the Patriotic Paragon, America's
Most Concerned Citizen!", which was produced with the Carrollton Arts and
Recreation Department. The latter has since been presented as a podcast serial
on www.darkcrazy.libsyn.com.
We also formed a production company called A Coming Storm Productions, which
focused on producing film and video shorts. In 1997 we produced "Sublimation",
a regional award-winning horror video. We produced "Science Fiction",
a digital sci fi spoof that premiered at the 1999 DragonCon (as an opening feature
to Troma's "Terror Firmer"). In 2000 we produced "The Bug",
which premiered in Savannah and is currently featured in the Screening Room
of the Dark Crazy web site.
The Dark Crazy web site
launched in March of 2005, and features original fiction, artwork and poetry
in our online publication "Whisper World" (which just recently branched
out into a low-run quarterly periodical). We profile up and coming bands on
our Sound Stage Page, and feature entertainment commentary on The Soapbox, our
editorial page.
