DARK EMBRACE is Mike Turner-lead vocals, Dan Turner-lead/rhythm guitars, Jason Barker-Bass, Brad Johnson (lead/rhythm guitars), and Patrick McNamee-Drums . Formed and based in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the years of collective musical experience of DARK EMBRACE has helped the group gain a solid reputation in the Mid-South metal underground for its powerful live performances, musical virtuosity, bold lyrical statements, and charismatic personalities both on and off the stage. The music of DARK EMBRACE could be described as a potent blend of heavy metal, hard rock, progressive, thrash, hardcore and experimental music.
Here is a short list of recent accomplishments:
-DARK EMBRACE has performed dozens of concerts in several states with over 50 bands.
-DARK EMBRACE released their first professionally produced 6 song EP in 2007. 1000 copies pressed through Disc makers. Over 600+ copies sold at this time. EP and/or downloads from the EP have been made available on CD Baby, Amazon, and Snocap. Copyrights were secured for the music for the first EP. Members of Dark Embrace also became members of ASCAP. The EP was submitted to nearly a dozen record labels and a high level of interest continues to be shown towards DARK EMBRACE. The EP has received generous airplay in Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri and it also has been played on several internet radio stations and programs.
-Increased web presence. DARK EMBRACE has several accounts on popular social networking sites such as MySpace, You Tube, and Soundclick as well as an online press kit at Sonic Bids. DARK EMBRACE also released nine music videos to the web.
-DARK EMBRACE is currently writing and demoing material for their first full length record.
