there is almost no space left in my room for books, they're crammed everywhere lol...I love to read and love books in general as I believe reading compulsively is a sign of higher intelligence and is something everyone should do...so many books, so little time...
Heroes
Terence McKenna (who enhanced my perceptions of the Universe)
Billy Corgan (who inspired me to pick up a guitar)
Yoshitaka Amano (who opened my eyes to the beauty of art)

APPARENTLY NO ONE READS THIS PART ANYMORE, I SUGGEST YOU MAKE IT THROUGH THE FIRST TWO SENTENCES AT LEAST!!
First off, if you want to add me, thats cool...however, please send me a message along with your request. Rarely will I add someone if you do not, so at least provide the courtesy of letting me know who you are.
I tend to be very hyper-observant of everything: details, patterns, social constructs, and just towards all of reality itself. Although I do not have a photographic memory, what I do possess inside my head is complex and most people have trouble comprehending me. Where others see chaos, I see order (and vice versa). Often this overloads me and I get anxious and withdrawn into thought and analysis. I have become more aware of this over the past few years and have tried not to go 'into my shell' as much and look for different ways to express myself, not only for myself, but also for others around me. I guess I just want people to take notice of me, to see if who and what I am clicks with them and they understand some small part of me...it helps me not feel as crazy and alone. But at the same time I am not one to really attract attention. I like to stay in the shadows and watch...behavior, interaction, language, and social/cultural constructs are all very interesting to me, but who observes the observer?
Career-wise I am a multimedia designer, which means I do web design, layout, graphics, 3D modeling and animation, digital photography, motion graphics, DVD authoring, and everything in between. If there is something I don't know how to do, then I'll learn to do it, my brain is a big thirsty sponge. Fortunately with my job I get to work from home, but I do take my job and everything related to it very seriously. I am always keeping up with current trends in technological growth and development, as well as new innovations in design, coding, and digital graphics...its the geek in me, what can I say?
I am not always so serious about everything though, I know how to relax, have fun, and go with the flow. I have an obscure sense of humor, and I find many things to be amusing which most people dont notice. My shyness and social anxiety is often mistaken for darkness or arrogance, but usually these are just assumptions people make about me without even talking to me. I enjoy painting and drawing when I can, but haven't really done a lot of that in a while as my main focus of things for the past couple of years has been in the digital realm. I love the outdoors, and I like to go hiking and exploring, especially to abandoned structures, earth monuments, weird places, etc. I also like to go to concerts and such, I love music and support the local music scene as much as I can.
Personally, I am on a flight-path, a course of self-exploration and development. I cannot be bogged down by others who I think may prevent me from my evolution and growth as an individual. I do not like liars, cheats, abusers, thieves, Republicans, and generally unconscious people...I also don't like most males for obvious stereotypical reasons, most of my friends are female. I have very few true friends and am not easily trusting of others. But, I do look for the good in everyone and give them a chance. I gravitate towards people who I find part of myself in, and those who I think are interesting, unique, and those I can learn from. I respect those who have respect for themselves, as well as respect for intellect, learning, and knowledge. I am very loyal to my friends though, I would do anything for them.
As for the rest of me, thats kind of complicated, but I'm figuring it out.

Who I'd like to meet: Anyone with similar or remotely similar interests. People who like to have fun and hang out and do whatever and don't care about getting bored, because thats just a fact of life. Intellectuals, artists, and free-thinkers are a plus.
I would love to find other people that live near me for collaborative artistic projects too, or just people who would like to hang out and talk about all of the mysteries of life and craziness in the world. I am a philosopher at heart, I am always pondering the mysteries of life and existence. I believe strongly in the power of consciousness and thought, and the divine potential of the human soul.
I also have a taste for the paranormal, and I dont mean just ghosts and things, but anything that is *beyond* normal and just plain weird or quirky. Finding other individuals with even remotely similar tastes is rare in itself, but I haven't lost hope yet.

Yeah... I'll be doing a lot better come February... There's a funny story about a settlement check from the state of Michigan for raiding a night club that goes along with that. Needless to say, your days are more eventful than mine. Being in the middle of nowhere with no car leaves you with very few options for fun. Honestly, if I were still working, I'd at least feel like I was doing something productive. That'll all come back in time though so no worries.
I'm really happy to hear from you! Wish you had a little more time/energy for extracurricular activities (I know all about how not getting out can make you stir crazy!) When I'm rich and famous I'll have to invite you over for brunch or something so we can discuss all the unexciting events we've survived :)
Hey you! Just wondering what you've been up to? Haven't talked in a while (nothing new I know )
Thought I'd pop in and say hi anyway, might cheer you up, which would cheer me up I suppose. That is if you needed cheering up, I don't know, but if you did, I would say hey... Yeah. SO! Hope you're doing great and having fun and that you get back to me sometime. Lemme know you're still out there!
