Dark Features is a Canadian, independent film company. We produce feature films, shorts, documentaries and music videos, working with High Definition and Digital Video. DROP DEAD ROSES - (93 minutes) Drop Dead Roses, the first 24P, High Definition feature film to be shot in Canada. This is Canadian Writer and Director Jessica Hudson's first feature film. Brian O'Halloran (Dante in Clerks) and Eddie McGee, (Winner of the hit reality show Big Brother), star in Drop Dead Roses. THE CLIENT -(1 minute) A man goes into a lawyer’s office seeking advice about an accusation that he is involved in a series of robberies. This 1-minute short stars Shawn Bakken (1st season of "Beauty and the Geek") and Jonathan Sommer. Currently being screened at the Mississauga Independent film festival - July 10th - 13th and at the Long Island Film Expo on July 14th THE DAILY GRIND - (4 minutes) A girl suspects her father of being involved in criminal activity and decides to get some answers. Currently being screened at film festivals. GREEN - (10 minutes) A short film on the trials and tribulations of an eccentric film director shooting a movie about grass in a nearby urban park. What could go wrong? RICE - (10 minutes) Do you believe in fate or choice? Two friends freshly sprung from jail ponder this question as one friend decides to go back to a life of crime and the other decides to turn his life around. Rice is in post production.
