about the Club:
The alternative Club Darkflower was opened in Ritterstrasse 44 September 2000 only a few steps away of the main station Leipzig. Since then its been one of the hippest clubs in the scene.
In September 2005, 5 years later, we moved to Hainstrasse 12-14. This location is bigger than before, the ventilating is better and there are more and better security measures. The new location is shared among two guest rooms and still arranged by ultra-violet light, the well-known airbrush arrangements, gravestones, skeletons, caskets and other horrifying stuff. Especially in the second part of the room you will enjoy the comfortable atmosphere.

We open Thursday to Saturday 9.00 p.m. - Friday and Saturday the most famous DJs of our scene will play music of all directions, like: wave, electro, rock and gothic.
Black Fridays are regularly theme-evenings, therewith events like Big Gothic Pogo Party, the Black GMC Dance-night and Veitstanz a middle ages rock party.
Saturday will be arranged by our resident DJs and a lot of Star and guest DJs from home and abroad and is arranged very mixed. Especially on Saturday it will pay attention to fulfilling your music desires.
Our 80th series was so successful, that we decided on celebrating it every Thursday with DJ Mike/ DJ ALEX.
The concept of the Darkflower was drawn up in cooperation with Andre Streng - Flowerpower Leipzig - in 1995 and is transformed in to action by scene DJ Marko Meyer.
