General
Petersen interested in alot of psychological themes that surround the human genetic architecture along with the mysteries that wonder in the shadows of man's domain. A lot of the subject matter that Petersen has touched upon is unlike any vision I've ever seen. From facing demons of times past. To the history of the world that we thought we knew. Only to read about it, then find out that something eles was around here a lot longer that we were. Into the depths of a meaningful twisted nightmare to the structure of a noraml drama with a afterlife emotion rolled in between. Petersen is one of the most interesting new filmmakers that has planted his seed in the soil of Detroit.
Petersen is also interested in helping local bands with music videos and photos for their album covers along with flyers.
Also with helping young models, (MALE OR FEMALE) with building their portfolios.

(A mousy young student that's going for here medical degree, gets caught up in the moment of the fighting couple by treating with kindness.)
The Cheating Wife - Husband & Wife
(These two are emotionally unstable as a plot of lust and betrayal unmask the blindfold of the females inner demons.)

"I like to welcome everyone to the official Dark Fortress Pictures site. It's been almost a year and a half since we started doing film work in the Detroit area. And let me just say, theres a lot of hungry people out there that are willing to make something that is worth seeing to the human eye. Were in Pre- Production of our next project, ANAMORPHIA. Another short written & directed by Michael G. Petersen. Just less than a month ago, on the 15th of December. We premired The Eye of Zurock and Sherome. Two other shorts directed by Michael G. Petersen. We had a turn out of 45 people including filmmakers Mike Madigan of Five Clover Films. Matthew Peach of Tri Omega Productions. Cate Cadwell of Sojo Films, and Paul Grabke. Along with many other filmmakers in the area. For the past year and half, we've help out with other productions such as, The Candle, Friday Night King, LaughCry, Cadence, New Directions, The Demeter short film series, Snapshot, and a handful of the Inzer0 episodes along with the two hour feature. And in between, we produced The Eye of Zurock and Sherome. Soon both films will be heading to some local film festival in the area and maybe some other states. But less than two months we start Pre - Production on ANAMORPHIA at full speed. And in between all of this, were taking to Paul Grabke. A screenwriter with a script intitled GraveRobber. Who is going to star no other then B-Horror legend Bruce Campbell. Word around the campfire is that Petersen might direct. He's already landed the job as lead editor but only time will tell if he's giving the chance to direct his first feature.
