"Eli buys a banjo" is a jam on Lazy River- an old Hoagy Carmichael song- w/ Eli Charleston on lead vocs and banjo, and me on the harmony.

Check him out at elicharleston.com

I sing and play most of the stuff on here myself, and record it...lots of first takes and recording on the fly, accounting for its messy, toilet training quality

Broke ass gypsy jazz, Punk Rock Doo-Wop. For best results, I reccomend using HEADPHONES

grew up in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, birthplace of Martin Acoustic guitars

steeped in gypsy jazz, the sun records of Memphis, Tennessee, nirvana, the monkees and beach boys.

travelled and hitch-hiked learning the guitar
lived on the streets of San Francisco and under a tarp in the woods, playing music in the subways and at the comic shop

sang country duets on a solo acoustic tour with evan dando of the lemonheads in the winter of '08

songs and collaborations with the jugtown pirates and plastic fantastic lover of san francisco.

Dear Constituent:

Please be informed that G. Wood/Undercover Bonobos have posted a new song entitled "Seeds" on their Myspace music player. We strongly advise that you review this material carefully. Your commentary is welcomed.

Analysis: We have been informed that this song sounds like a Communist Collective work song. We are further advised that it may be misconstrued as a treatise on the cultivation of illegal herbage. We are cautioned that some listeners may experience a shift in psychological set and setting during the "psychedelic" interlude. Please report any activity of this nature forthwith.

This song may be intended and interpreted as a tribute to the late, great, Sky Saxon.

We gratefully anticipate your thoughts on this matter.
