About me:
Dark Horizons Mastering cares about the mix. You can only sound like your mix. DHM takes your visions slightly further but never towards a scenario where things turn worse.
Balance is everything. Tone. The soul. DHM cares about you and aims to keep your sound intact within reasonable limits. You should only care about your own music and not everybody elses. DHM loves variations between artists.
DHM uses only analogue processing for eq decisioning and compression. Digital to analogue and analogue to digital conversion goes through excellent converters of highest quality. The only digital process is limiting, if needed.
DHM is working from a strictly classic mastering point of view. It should sound good or even awesome everywhere. Your vision should translate. There is no science, no endless chains of plugins and no visual aids. Only ears are used to get there.

All common digital incoming formats are accepted. Highest bit resolution possible preferred. Any sample rate. NO mp3's please.
DHM is delivering duplication ready CD master discs with all common codes and a thorough quality check, including error rates, is carried out with every disc leaving DHM. DHM can also deliver standard audio data files (wav, 16 bit, 44.1 kHz) if clients prefer so.
