There is no question that Scorpio is the pioneer of Dark Electro in Greece. His emotional electro-techno style has been instantly recognizable since his first releases on Ntrop Recordings almost a decade ago. Since then, he has moved on to releasing music on labels such as Voltage Musique (DE), Vokuhila (DE), Black Montanas (USA), Black Leather (COLOMBIA), etc and taking his live act on the road in clubs and festivals.
A typical Scorpio performance emphasizes on dark atmospheres, presenting a unique Electro style combined with vocoders, laptops, synthesizers, broken beats and techno grooves. Noteworthy performances include the highly acclaimed Synch Festival in Greece, the Trend club in Berlin, Notting Hill Arts Club in London, and many more.
His unique sound has earned him the respect of artists such as Miss Kittin, The Hacker, DJ Hell etc. Proof of this are his appearances on compilations from labels such as Cologne's More Music and Miss Kittin's 2005 Promo mix on Novamute which featured his tracks among artists such as Alter Ego, Justice, Apparat, The Hacker etc.
