Founded in this particular sub sector of the temporal multiverse circa 1977, Dark Matter Industries has previously existed for the most part unbeknownst to even the most privileged of CIA insiders. Pushing the known boundaries of human consciousness has always been our imperative. We’re here to create the inevitable mind technology of tomorrow today.
Currently our vast endeavors have led us to one conclusion: human minds can be intentionally conjoined on a transdimensional level. The implications of this discovery are paradigm shattering for a multitude of reasons, the most prominent being the imminence of our long dormant telepathic capabilities soon being awakened. In an age dominated by ever changing information and pharmaceutical technology, telepathy is the only obvious eventuality.
The internet is just a drop in the bucket compared to what the future has in store. Imagine being able to communicate at long range with a mere thought. Share ideas in a cerebral conference room with mind link capabilities. Any company with these kinds of advantages would surely dominate the marketplace almost instantaneously. But here at Dark Matter we’re not interested solely in the bottom line because we no longer posses the ability to think so shortsightedly.
Through hyperspace networking with inner dimensional Alien races we’ve stumbled upon a commodity far greater than any of our world’s feeble currencies: Psionium. Imagine riding the world’s fastest roller coaster while simultaneously having an orgasm that lasts ten thousand years and you’re barely scratching the surface. Psionium exists in a particularly remote non-physical realm populated by a rapidly mutating uber-intelligent race of spiritually luminous insects we’ve deemed the Psionians.
For some reason or another they’ve let us partake in their strange cosmic customs and are attempting to aid us in the synthesizing of this otherworldly psychic chemical in a physical form. This discovery will begin to shatter the human species’ current worldview regarding the very nature of consciousness and our relationship to the universe by causing ontological shock on global level in the year 2012. As a part of this process the Psionians demanded that we help promote the art created by some of our unwitting test subjects. They maintain that this will help the world prepare itself for the inevitable transformation but we suspect they’re just playing us like the helplessly addicted marionettes we are. Either way the Psionium must flow.
With that in mind, Dark Matter Industries has recently signed the post everything psych metal band, The Nemesis Theory, and their formidably insane vocalist’s experimental side project Thanaton. This site’s intention is to raise broader awareness regarding these obscure artists while maintaining the low profile that DMI has worked so hard to cultivate over the last thirty years. The importance of what we’re doing here could mean the difference between the dawn of a new utopian era and the descent of modern culture into countless centuries of apocalyptic violence and despair.
