Formed in 2004, the band has grown immensely in song writing and performance. Starting as a progressive rock band, Darknote has slowly transformed into a fast paced metal band, without losing its progressive roots.
Influences include the kings of progressive metal Opeth, the leaders of new wave metal Lamb of God, the wizards of technical metal Meshuggah, plus many more amazing metal bands such as Mastodon, Arch Enemy, Urkraft and Dimmu Borgir.
