About me:

Hi I live in the west coast of Scotland and I have been a huge Thompson Twins fan since I was 14. And also like Babble and Tom's current project International Observer. My dream was fulfilled When I met Tom and Alannah from the Thompson Twins in 2006. I like to listen to lots of other 80s music too. People like Howard Jones,Adam And The Ants, Simple Minds, Madness 80s Synth/New Wave New Romantics that sort of stuff. Through my interest In Tom Bailey and Thompson Twins I have gotten into some great New Zealand music such as The Strawpeople, stellar* and Bic Runga which in turn got me into Anika Moa. There is a really good music scene going on in NZ. stellar* are an awesome NZ pop rock band co produced by Tom Bailey fronted by singer Boh Runga sister of Bic Runga and are well worth checking out take a look at their myspace profile in my friends list and you'll see what I mean.

I like Blondie and Deborah Harry and have saw Blondie In Glasgow about five or six times since 1999. I have actually started to lose count lol. But since their comeback and No Exit Tour the only Glasgow gig of Blondie's I didnt catch was their performance at The Glasgow Barrowlands. I enjoy seeing my favorite bands live and was fortunate to see Bic Runga at the Union Chapel London plus King Tuts The ABC2 and Oran Mor in Glasgow and stellar* only uk show at the Shepherds Bush Empire in 2002. Enya's music is haunting and beautiful and she is an amazing vocalist. k.d lang is another singer I listen to a lot her voice is great so smooth yet strong and powerful.

I like movies but dont watch them as often now as I did. My favorite actor is Dutch Actor Rutger Hauer I have watched Blind Fury so many times and think it is a good action film while at the same time being quite funny and having emotion too.

I have been known to play pc computer games and some of my faves are the Half Life series of games. The Thief series which had a great stealth aspect good atmosphere and was quite scary at times quite underated.
