The infamous DARKROOM FAMILIA (established in 1988) exploded onto the scene, breaking ground and paving the way for the Bay Area/Northern Cali Latin rap game with highly successful underground classics such as "Temporary Insanity," "From The Barrio With Love," "Penitentiary Chances," "Veteranos," and 16 independent films (available at all retail and rental stores worldwide). Apart from being the first Northern Cali Latin rappers to appear on the cover of hip-hop magazine Murder Dog, Darkroom Familia were the first Bay Area rappers to have their films distributed in rental and retail stores worldwide.
