DJ Astro

About me:

I used to play bass in a psychedelic space rock band Dark Sun (now on hiatus). We also have a psych web zine Psychotropic Zone and we organize an occasional psych club at various venues in Helsinki with my friend as DJ's Astro and Humanoid. So far, we've had bands like Acid Mothers Temple, Circle, DarXtar, Dungen, Hidria Spacefolk, Kuusumun Profeetta and Øresund Space Collective playing at our club. We are part of the Psychotropic Caravan collective. I also do occasional DJ gigs for other clubs & festivals like Roadburn. I have been writing for some other cool music magazines/sites like Aural Innovations, Bad Acid, Colossus and TimeMazine, as well.
