Dark Side of the moon consists of 6 well seasoned musicians with one common factor, the love of anything Pink Floyd. The concept came about in early 1992 when Tim was invited to join the band 'The Raen'. Tim, being a life-long Pink Floyd fan, immediately recognized that Steve's voice was very close to that of David Gilmour's and he eagerly suggested putting together a Pink Floyd tribute. Within a short time, 'The Raen's' first live performance was at the Canton Indians baseball stadium, performing before a full stadium! The band performed together till '98. Steve, Tim, Dan and Jeff remained friends over the years, creating a very loyal friendship and a desire to create the 'Ultimate Pink Floyd Tribute'. The band regrouped in 2008 with the addition of 2 keyboard players, Doug and Lauren to form 'The Dark Side of the Moon™'. Dark Side of the Moon has been critically acclaimed by many including Carlo Basile (EMI records/Pink Floyd/BMG Music) as one of the closest sounding Pink Floyd tributes in the world.
