"Dark Sunlight" is the name of my music project. There is only one member ;).
So, what can I tell you about myself...well, my name isn't important, I'm 21 years old and live in Germany. I guess that's enough of that uninteresting stuff.
Music was always a very special thing in my life, so I decided when I was about 13 years old to buy a guitar. I learned everything with books and online exercises. After some years I lost my interest in complicated playing (I was a big fan of John Petrucci from Dream Theater and practiced daily to improve my technique) and started to think about making music by myself. So I tried to forget about this technique stuff (with the conclusion that I'm meanwhile a very bad guitar player) and started to learn how to compose songs. Well, that's it until now. I hope it will help a bit to get better in songwriting when I upload my songs. Maybe someday I will be able to write music the way I want it.
The recordings are all made with the following programs/instruments:
- Guitar: Ibanez RG-7321 with a Line 6 Toneport UX1 (replaced my POD 2.0)
- Guitar 2: Lag Tramontane 222 ASCE
- Synthesizer: Korg X5D
- Cubasis VST 4 Education (I really need something better...) with VST Instruments
- Audacity for simple recordings
- Guitar Pro 5 (I would like to use the RSE Bass sound for the recordings, but unfortunately it is out of sync when I record the part for Cubasis. Don't know why.)
- My terrible voice
