With the soulful up-tempo jazzy sound of the titled album “ Strawberry Lemonade ” singer and song writer Darnell Kendricks announces his thirst quenching, much anticipated debut onto the R&B/ Smooth Soul circuit.
This California native has taken his rich, seductive and passionate voice and set Detroit’s music scene on fire. His lyrics, style, and intricate harmonies are born from life’s inspiration, and clearly speak of the human factor. Darnell’s philosophy is “Songs are already written in the Heavens and we as artists are blessed to be vessels to birth them into this dimension of life”.

His fans gave great support and he received many accolades for his CD Listening Event hosted by The Wall Street Café and 107.5 WGPR.

Directly inspired by the “Divided Soul” man himself, Marvin Gaye, Darnell takes a page from his idols book and continues the heritage of Detroit all while maintaining a style uniquely his own as an R&B/ Smooth Soul artist.
