From Darran's early beginings in the dance music scene he has always had an impact.
He witnessed the birth of the acid house scene in the UK and watched it develop and splinter into many different genre's from the same small town that produced the talent of Nic Fanciulli.
He took the mantle of DJ in 1992 with the beginings of the Jungle scene, under the guise of DJ Stepper he took the local scene in Kent by storm.
Securing a residency @ Vogues in Sittingbourne, Kent he played alongside the likes of Kenny Ken and DJ Dready, but thieves put an end to the progress Darran was making in the Jungle/D&B scene.
He took a break from dance music in general trying to find direction until he found this direction in Ibiza and in Progressive House.
Mixing Progressive House was like second nature to Darran and his creative mind was let loose.
His style has caught the attention of many of the producers and DJ's within the scene who support him,
He also runs the House stream on TransmissionFM.com where he is the front man for Progressive House on the station and has built an international following of his weekly radio show Waveforms and the Waveforms Podcast.
Darran's mixes and faultless ability to create a unique journey through sound has earned him respect and call for his talents are rapidly increasing from guest appearances on other radio shows to DJ's appearing on his weekly show.
With the support and talent Darran has expect big things in 2008
I'm in the middle of a mad dash trying to get funding for that Technics DJ Academy course! I have my CAreers Development Loan application, but got a few numbers from the Citizens Ad Bur today, to exhaust other avenues first Fingers crossed, if i have to go the loan route, i'll get accepted, although there are only 3 banks that offer them.
looking ito sponsership things n stuff, but doubt i'd get help for that course..ya never know though i suppose.
I'm bloody desperate now haha...i'll get there one day!

Hahahaha yeah cheers Darran, much appreciated! We're really busy in the studio at the moment but as soon as we get a new mix done we'll throw it your way straight away. We're long overdue one but got 2 remixes to get finished this week, so really pushed time wise.
