"Songs on "NEXT BIG STEP" CD were inspired from the very same recording artist that influenced me in becoming a musician in the 1st place: The Byrds, The Beatles, Johnny Rivers, Buffalo Springfield, Bob Dylan, the Lovin’ Spoonful, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers and many other artists of that era."
Morris started writing songs in his early teens, and has written hundreds & hundreds & hundreds of songs since then. "I like a lot of styles of music and write in many genres. I think it's because of my years of playing for a living, and getting exposed to a lot of different brands of music along the way."
Morris spent the 90's working in Nashville, as a studio musician, writer & producing demos for other songwriters. He has his own music publishing company affiliated with BMI.
He currently lives in Central Washington, and continues to play 'live' shows and venues throughout the Northwest & produces CDs for himself as well as other singer/songwriters & bands.********
