I enjoy watching science fiction movies, like Star Wars, and I also like Merlin and Lord of the Rings. The special effects in these movies were fantastic. I also acted in Dark City. The song Alien was inspired by that movie. Lord of the Rings and Merlin inspired Wizards Drum. Vampire was written after watching Tom Cruise, who acted so brilliantly in this movie.
I like songs with weird sounds and music, so I tell the keyboard player to put in all the weird sounds he can think of in my music that he has never used before! Probably this is why I like Pink Floyd. Dreamcatcher gives you an example of this. That is why I created the album Wind and Fire.
The album Lightning Woman was written because I wanted to create something different in country music, that was not about heartbreak. And write about different subjects, such as Ghost Piano, Rattlesnake Rose and Stereo Man.
I also like mucking around with my car. I clean it so much the neighbours all tease me!!!
